The Vietnamese Respite Service aims to assist and encourage seniors with dementia, frail seniors, carers and younger people with disability to maintain their independent lifestyle in the community. The program works in collaboration with other agencies to provide appropriate services to meet the clients’ needs.
What services do we provide?
We provide:
- Centre-based Day Care
- In-home respite care
- Carer Support Group on a regular basis
- Respite emergency
- Counselling, advocacy and referral services
- Case management
- Home, hospital and nursing home visit
- Information on dementia, aged care
- Emotional, social and practical support
- Social/welfare information
- Helping with finding suitable accommodation
- Transport if necessary
- Translating and interpreting if required
Service fees
Respite services are free. Contributions to the cost of catering for Centre-based Day Care and Carer Support group are welcomed.
